I have been involved in a LOT of marketing for entrepreneurs. From brand new startups to experienced pros who know they need to do something different to grow and thrive. Most of the entrepreneurs I work are women, aged 35-60 and who are pretty established in our businesses (although we do get a fair amount of men who are comfortable with their masculinity and not worried about hanging with a bunch of “chicks”). We generally have experienced a high level of success some time in our lives and are pushing now to make our current business a rock star.
We have loved ones and family who might or might not totally “get” why we spend so much time working on our business. When it is going great they think we are working too much and not around enough and when we are slow and despondent they sometimes give us the helpful advice like “why not just get a job”…ack!
We are all very different from each other personally but share one passion…to build a great business that fill our souls, makes a difference to the world PLUS makes us money.
